Ms. Sanchez has fifteen years of experience and has practiced in the areas of civil, criminal and appellate law.  Ms. Sanchez has litigated or tried cases in civil, criminal, tribal, and administrative tribunals.  Ms. Sanchez also has appellate experience serving as both a judicial law clerk and prehearing staff attorney at the New Mexico Court of Appeals. During her legal career, Ms. Sanchez’s practice has emphasized the defense of civil lawsuits involving construction defect litigation, insurance law, including coverage and first-party defense of insurance bad faith/breach of contract claims, employment law, employers’ liability, governmental liability, personal injury, automobile and trucking accidents, premises liability, and commercial transactions.

Ms. Sanchez joined the law firm of O’Brien & Padilla, P.C., in June 2017.  Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Sanchez was a shareholder at Riley, Shane & Keller, P.A. in Albuquerque, New Mexico.  Ms. Sanchez has a general civil litigation practice where she practices in the areas of insurance defense, insurance coverage and bad faith, personal injury defense, construction defect litigation, auto liability, and commercial liability.

Ms. Sanchez currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief of Defense News for the New Mexico Defense Lawyers Association.  In her spare time, Ms. Sanchez enjoys running, tennis, reading and spending time with her lively daughter.
