Ms. Geter is a native of New Mexico with a passion for justice who aggressively advocates on behalf of her clients. Prior to joining O’Brien & Padilla Law Firm, Ms. Geter was an Assistant Trial Attorney at the Second Judicial District Attorney’s Office. Ms. Geter received her Bachelor of Arts degree from University of New Mexico before attending law school at the University of Minnesota, where she obtained her Juris Doctorate in 2019.

While attending the University of Minnesota Law School, Ms. Geter was the Managing Director of the Civil Rights/Civil Liberties Moot Court, a staff member on Law and Inequality: A Journal of Theory and Practice, and a team member on the ABA Moot Court Competition Team. Additionally, Ms. Geter was placed on the Dean’s List for the 2017-2018 and 2018-2019 academic years.

Ms. Geter has argued many cases in both criminal and civil courts, obtaining favorable decisions. As a litigator for O’Brien & Padilla, P.C., Ms. Geter has worked on insurance coverage and bad faith issues, construction defects, personal injury, property damage, and workers’ compensation cases.
