Each file is assigned to a litigation paralegal who, under attorney supervision, assumes responsibility for the preparation of all routine pleadings, the accumulation and summarization of discovery responses including medical records and bills, and the preparation of a wide variety of correspondence. The litigation paralegals have experience with insurance defense, insurance bad faith, products liability, defense of sexual harassment and wrongful termination complaints, as well as employment discrimination and workers' compensation suits.
Sandra B. Byer, CP
 Sandra Byer is a nationally certified paralegal with more than 16 years experience. Ms. Byer has also served as Chair of the Paralegal Division of the New Mexico State Bar and continues to support the Division by serving on the Professional Development Committee.
In 2003, Ms. Byer was instrumental in promoting positive changes, including a definition of substantive paralegal work, of the New Mexico Rules Governing Paralegals. |
Marie E. Marino, CP (Civil Litigation Specialist)
 Marie Marino is a nationally certified paralegal as well, with more than 16 years experience. Ms. Marino is also nationally certified as a civil litigation specialist. With the firm, she works in the areas of civil litigation, insurance defense, and insurance bad faith.
In May of 1997, Ms. Marino secured a specialization designation in the area of civil litigation. Ms. Marino is a charter member of and has presented seminars for the Paralegal Division of the New Mexico State Bar. |
Amy L. Paul, CP
 Amy Paul is also a nationally certified paralegal, and has more than 15 years experience as a paralegal, of which seven years has focused on defense litigation.
