Ms. Gilmore graduated from the University of Kansas Law School in 1991. She was a member and Note and Comment Editor for the Kansas Law Review from 1989 - 1991. Upon completion of law school, Ms. Gilmore clerked at the Kansas Court of Appeals for the Honorable G. Joseph Pierron. From 1993 to 1999, Ms. Gilmore was a prosecutor at the Second Judicial District Attorney's Office. In 1999 Ms. Gilmore left the DA's Office and joined the Beitler Law Firm in defending medical malpractice cases. Ms. Gilmore has practiced in insurance defense since 1999 focusing on the defense of physicians, dentists, nurses, hospitals, nursing homes and surgery centers. In the last few years Ms. Gilmore has broadened her practice to include the defense of all kinds of personal injury cases, business litigation and construction defect cases. Ms. Gilmore joined the firm in 2010 and has continued to defend medical malpractice cases, personal injury and construction defect cases.
